The Central Texas African American Family Support Conference

The CTAAFSC is an annual conference hosted and sponsored by ATCIC, New Milestones Foundation and other community partners to strengthen family and individual awareness of available healthcare services — behavioral and physical — through culturally sensitive education, supports and partnerships. It also works to reduce stigma and eliminate health disparities. The CTAAFSC is a free, yearly public event that provides information and educational opportunities to individuals who use ATCIC’s services, their families and the community. The Mayor’s Mental Health Task Force Monitoring Committee

The MMHTFMC is a is a broad-based collaborative designated as an affiliate of the ATCIC Board of Trustees and is seen as an independent entity able to make objective observations and recommendations about community progress related to mental health and developmental disabilities. The Committee has a diverse membership with a wide variety of expertise across designated focus areas, including Schools and Youth, Criminal Justice, Community Awareness and Housing/Access. New Milestones Foundation

NMF works in partnership with ATCIC in fundraising and advocacy  efforts that battle stigma and educate the community about ATCIC’s mission. It is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization with members who commit time, energy and funds to support ATCIC programs as well as an additional array of innovative services, treatment, and emergency care for individuals living with brain-based disorders.
