Background checks are conducted and completed by ATCIC for all contracted providers. The following is a list of resources used to conduct this process.
A provider will be barred from contracting with ATCIC if the contract is found to:
- Have any offense as listed in the Texas Health and Safety Code, §250.006, pre-employment clearance specifications.
- Is listed as revoked in the Nurse Aide Registry or unemployable in the Employee Misconduct Registry (See C).

B. Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General List of Excluded Individuals/Entities Search (OIG)
**A contract provider listed as revoked in the Nurse Aide Registry or unemployable in the Employee Misconduct Registry will be barred from contracting and/or provision of services.
