Health Benefits
ATCIC knows quality healthcare is important to maintaining a healthy life and providing proper care for your family. Our health and dental insurance packages are provided free of charge to qualified employees, and allows employees to choose from many Austin providers with low visit and prescription co-pays. In addition, ATCIC offers low-cost options for upgraded dental and vision plans, and for spouse and family health and dental coverage.
Employees can also utilize the Employee Assistance Program, which provides free and confidential personal counseling. Additionally, ATCIC offers employees a Flexible Benefit Plan, where employees can use pre-tax dollars to pay for qualifying co-pays, prescriptions, over the counter medications and other related medical expenses.
Vacation, Leave and Wellness
While we strive to make the workday enjoyable, we provide competitive paid time off to ensure employees have and make time for themselves. Employees accrue paid time off, sick leave, and receive time off for bereavement, jury duty, military training and educational leave (up to two paid hours per week may be granted to pursue job-related studies or training). Family Medical Leave is also available for up to 12 consecutive or non-consecutive weeks in any 12-month period subject to FMLA guidelines.
Qualified ATCIC employees receive generous vacation time and an additional six days that can be used at their discretion, with supervisor approval. Qualified employees also receive 8 hours per month for sick leave and are eligible to request ATCIC's Sick Leave Pool benefit for catastrophic situations.
ATCIC Holidays
ATCIC is closed on the following national holidays: New Year’s, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Retirement, Life-Insurance & Disability Benefits
ATCIC offers 403(b) and 401(a) retirement accounts to its qualified employees. After six months of employment, ATCIC contributes an amount equal to 4.5% of a qualified employee’s salary into a 401(a) retirement account.
ATCIC provides a generous life insurance package for qualified employees with additional supplement options. Additionally, ATCIC offers qualified employees long and short-term disability coverage options, along with a long-term care program.

ATCIC also provides training and development opportunities through its annual Training Day, New Employee Orientation, Employee Recognition program and routine brown bag lunches. Additional ongoing training includes confidentiality, consumer rights, drug free workplace, and harassment. Trainings are also offered throughout the year to assist employees with continuing education units for licensure requirements.
