C.A.R.E. offers case management, mental health and outpatient substance use treatment to individuals living with HIV/AIDS. In addition, C.A.R.E. provides community outreach, education and testing for individuals most at-risk for contracting HIV and other communicable diseases.

Specifically, C.A.R.E. offers access to Housing Opportunities for Persons Living with AIDS (HOPWA), psychiatric care, financial assistance for psychiatric medications, both individual and group counseling, assistance in accessing residential addiction treatment services, acupuncture-detoxification and yoga groups.

This program also has the Journey outpatient substance use treatment program, where individuals living with HIV/AIDS and addiction learn to live and recover from the complex illnesses they face. C.A.R.E. also has outreach and risk reduction teams that provide community level interventions aimed at preventing the spread of HIV to high-risk individuals.

HIV counseling and testing are key components of these services and are offered by appointment and in the community. Hepatitis C and Syphilis testing are also available. Professional staff are available to provide HIV education and community presentations. Risk reduction materials (condoms, needle and pipe cleaning kits, brochures, etc.) are also available at no cost.
