The SHAC offers supportive and educational groups, computer access, outreach, peer support and seminars focused on mental health recovery. Services are provided by the Austin Area Mental Health Consumers, comprised of individuals living with mental illness, in an ATCIC facility.  

SHAC members provide a supportive environment to learn how to return to a work environment and daily life. Members are also encouraged to support each other through their individual processes and a variety of support groups have formed around expressed interests.
