ATCIC’s nine-member volunteer Board of Trustees (Trustees) is appointed by the City of Austin (four Representatives), Travis County (four Representatives) and the Austin Independent School District (one Representative), reflecting the community it serves and represents. The Trustees are a diverse group with various professional backgrounds, bringing expertise in the areas of criminal justice, healthcare, management, and rehabilitation services.
The Trustees volunteer their time and skills at regular monthly meetings, as well as at various standing committees, which meet monthly (Planning and Operations, Finance, Human Resources and Public Relations). Trustees participate in regular training sessions, and support ATCIC by attending other functions, meetings, and fundraisers.
