Austin is known for its caring citizens and volunteers, and during this last year, there has been a strong and steady culture that encourages and honors giving back to our local community. Did you know that one in four people are diagnosed with a mental illness and one to three percent of our population lives with a developmental disability?

ATCIC offers a variety of ways to show your support including consumer recognition events such as maintaining one of our “Green” gardens at our various facilities, or working to support consumers’ rights through the VOICE Committee. Read on to find out how you can give back.
