Garden Angels

Garden Angels are volunteers who assist in seasonal planting and maintenance of the vegetable, herb and flower gardens located at our facilities in South and East Austin. Garden Angels work independently for the majority of the time with guidance provided as needed by the Volunteer Coordinator. Experienced and novice gardeners are accepted any time of the year!

Friendship Link Mentors

The Friendship Link is a mentor matching and volunteer visitor program serving individuals with intellectual disabilities through community leisure activities and also serves individuals with behavioral health disorders in various residential and clinical settings.

Clerical & Administrative

Clerical and Administrative volunteers are needed for special projects such as filing, shredding, conference helpers, and special events.

Tutoring

Tutors are needed for all subjects for middle and high school students being served through the Child and Family Services division. Tutoring sessions are provided in public settings such as libraries and coffee shops and are usually 1 hour in length, one to two times per week.
